Open Level Mat Pilates
This Pilates mat class is open for all levels and bodies, using props for support as well as offering a deeper challenge to the classical mat work.
Mixed Mat with Weights & Bands

Realign Reformer
This class is appropriate for anyone, however, we will be focusing on populations that want to engage deeply at a level that can accommodate their specific needs. Seniors, those who have osteoporosis or are pregnant would find this class suitable.'
*Please note, class is held on the 2nd floor.
Combo Chair Pilates
The chair class utilizes the combo chair which is Joseph Pilates' classical wunda chair and high chair combined in one. This versatile piece of equipment uses spring loaded tension, similar to the reformer, but with a greater variety of sitting and standing series in the work. As with all apparatus using springs, depending on the load, you will be challenging either the core or the appendages. The shovel handles can be used for stability or for deep conditioning of the shoulder girdle. Expect a dynamic workout that challenges deep core stability and spinal mobility in all planes, all while maintaining balance.
Individuals $85 and Duets $55/person.
Walk-Ins Welcome, but Reserve in Advance to Secure Your Spot.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 12 hours in advance!

What is Midsection Connection?
Joseph Pilates would say “You are as young as your spine”, a spin off the saying “You are as young as you feel.” The notion being that a spine that articulates with ease will lead to better movement habits and (hopefully) enhance quality of life.
The integration of the intrinsic muscles surrounding the spine, and making up the abdominal muscles of the midsection, offer a deep level of mobility, flexibility and stability of the spine. At the Midsection Connection, we aim to find a fully integrated body, with the deep intrinsic muscles and the extrinsic musculature, for optimal movement habits via the Pilates method framework.
Through this workout process we want to make that workout, work out the best for you. We offer classes, duets, small group and private instruction, on the mat and on the Pilates apparatus, tailoring a movement workout specific for your needs and goals.
Patricia’s background in both dance & athletics influences her Pilates teaching, focusing on form and incorporating fun and inventive twists to the classical work. Her goal is that by sharing knowledge about the body, it will empower clients to continue on their own.
She received her Pilates certification through the Drexel Pilates Training Program in 2012, with director Jennifer Morely. In 2017&2020 she completed a 2year graduate level teacher training with Master teacher Karen Carlson.
Both teachers have had an enormous impact on Patricia’s education and development as a Pilates instructor. Including Carlson’s lifelong research of the biomechanical breakdown of the classical Pilates work into functional families which heavily influences Patricia’s teaching.
